Mission Statement

At the practice of Maryann Lehmann, DDS, we are more than just teeth. We strive for the best oral health care while treating each and every patient individually, with personal attention, concern and dignity. Everyone deserves to have a healthy, beautiful smile and we are here to help them achieve and maintain that with our talents, our time and technology. This includes patients here is our home practice of Darien, and beyond.

Philanthropy & Civic Involvement

Connecticut State Disaster Identification Relief Team (DIRT)

2002 - present

Trained in team disaster relief measures targeted at identifying victims’ remains for disasters in state of Connecticut. Committed to being part of the response team and serving for up to a one week period if necessary.

Trim Our Tree For Charity

Dec. 2020

Fundraised for three organizations all month long: raised hundreds of dollars for Corbin Cares of Darien, CT, collected and delivered food donations to New Covenant Center in Stamford, CT, and donated clinical supplies to the St. Francis Dental Clinic Among the Lakota in South Dakota.

The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach believes that everyone deserves dental care. The Foundation, through its Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinics, provides the underserved and uninsured with free dental care so no one will suffer needlessly from mouth pain, complications from lack of care, or be embarrassed about their smile.

Charity Day

2014 - 2016

Perform dental cleanings and procedures at no charge for one full business day, in an effort to make dental careaccessible for those who cannot afford it, at own private practice location.

Preschool Workshops

1988 - 2018

Travel to five preschools located throughout Fairfield County, CT every year to educate young children about dental care and proper oral hygiene. Over the course of 20 years, we have helped to potentially create over 6000 healthy smiles.

Insurance & Payment

Insurance

We accept payment from most other dental insurance companies and process our claims electronically on the same day as treatment is rendered.

You should contact your dental insurance provider for details of your plan, however, we will be happy to help you find out your personal coverage and explain the terms of your plan . Be sure to come to your appointment with a current insurance card, and the holder's identification information. We will do our best to help make insurance processing flow as easily as possible!

Please note: insurance payments vary from plan to plan, and you are responsible for balances remaining after their payment. For treatment plans involving several appointments, we recommend that we process a pre-treatment estimate so that you can know your financial responsibility prior to treatment starting.

Payments

  • We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express, as well as personal checks and cash.
  • Payment is expected on the day of treatment, unless we are processing your insurance claim.
  • Any balances remaining after insurance payments are due within 30 days of being billed.
